The Classics up in the New Haven division of CT Transit are on their last leg, literally, and are the last of the Classics in the Tri-State area. Per posts on BusTalk ( http://forum.bustalk.info/viewtopic.php?t=1828&start=525&sid=1f2a66ebcdc54eeaa3373bedc3d24b6a ) and the Facebook page "Bus Lounge", #9622 is the last one that remains in service, and it should be retired pretty soon. #9616 is somewhat in storage, and per that BusTalk post was seen last week doing the Union Station Shuttle most likely because the XDE35 that is assigned to that shuttle was being serviced. What I was told was that #9622 is essentially used only for rush-hour service. I headed up yesterday to New Haven for the AM rush (taking the first New-Haven Metro-North of the morning, arriving at State Street at 8:00) and saw it for a second. After that it never came back. So if any of you are interested, I suggest you get those pictures now and not wait.
