PARAMUS — A passenger pepper sprayed an NJ Transit bus driver and was arrested near the Paramus Park Mall Thursday morning, officials said.
The No. 168 bus driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for evaluation, according to William Smith, a transit agency spokesman. The bus was headed to the mall from the Port Authority terminal in New York City.
