These wonderful maps by Bernard Linder show the closed stations ( 18th Street, Worth Street ) and various track changes throughout the years.  Not shown are the "pony " or "baby" platforms that were closed at Brooklyn Bridge and 14th Street.  These short platforms were located adjacent to the local tracks on the wall side and were since removed or closed off. They were originally built to relieve overcrowding and were found at several stations along the originally IRT subway route.  The Bowling Green shuttle platform and track have been out of public service for many years already.
