Who benefits: Those going to St Joseph's School for the Deaf, St Raymond's Cemetery, and the Throggs Neck Shopping Center.
Those going to Home Depot (or connecting to the Q44) have another option and no longer have to walk along the bridge after Zerega Ave (though they have to walk back and get across the Hutchinson River Parkway East service road when no vehicles are approaching).
Those going to the Throggs Neck Shopping Center would get off and walk along St Joseph's Way, E 177 St, then Lafayette Ave to get to the mall.
Those going to the Throggs Neck Projects have the option of walking along St Joseph's Way and E 177 St from the Bx5 if they don't want to wait for the Bx42 to show up.
