I'm opening this topic as I think it would interest a lot of people. Most subway cars in use have different truck and suspension designs. What's your opinion as to which car provides the best ride quality?
I find that some car types have a far better ride quality than others. For example i think than the truck/suspension design on the R142A/R143/R160 is a similar design, therefore provides a ride that is similarly comfortable, although the size on the B division trains does make a difference. But, in my opinion, the Bombardier truck/suspension design on the R142s beats all others hands down on ride quality.
