Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that the power distribution system for the subways is in dire need of an overhaul, according to a report in The New York Times.
Power problems caused 32,000 delays over the past 12 months. To cut down that number, Cuomo has tasked supplier Con Edison with inspecting and repairing thousands of pieces of infrastructure. They have a year to do so.
