Hello there! This is the second edition based on FRACertifyMotormen's "What service patterns would YOU set up?" With this edition, I'ma really take things up-a-noch!
However though, these rules still apply:
Number 1: You have to work with the existing physical plant. You can't say " to Secaucus Junction to meet with NJTransit . That example means you can't build any new lines.
Number 2: You have to work with the existing track layouts. You can't build any new switches.
And Number 3...
NO SAS (I think this means Second Avenue Sagas). YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS RESPECT THIS RULE!
Okay. We've reviewed the rules. Now here's my service pattern! Enjoy!
IRT
No changes to the ,
,
,
, and
trains . There is also no changes to the 42nd Street Shuttle .
-Introducing the
Jerome Avenue Express. Express/local stops at Woodlawn, Burnside Avenue, and 149th Street-Grand Concourse. It can skip 138th Street-Grand Concourse during Rush Hours.
-Service towards 238th Street-Nereid Avenue now has weekday service, eliminating the PM Rush Hour service to that stop.
-Service reactivated. Now runs express north of 96th Street. Express service at 137th Street, 168th Street, and 215th Street.
IND/BMT
I'll explain which lines will not be changed.
-Reactivated rush hour service to 168th Street.
-<D> Concourse Express introduced to relieve the rush hour problem.
-<F> Culver Express reactivated, as well as the Culver right-of-way express tracks.
-Restored service to Forest Hills. Weekdays only.
- Line reactivated. Runs across the Rockaway Peninsula, reactivating Hammel's Wye.
-Rush hour service to Prospect Park to help with rush hour crowds on the
, and
lines.
-Reactivated service between 168th Street, and the World Trade Center. Weekdays only.
-Weekend service extended to Essex Street.
-Service reactivated. Now with weekend service. It will run as the usual route: The Lower East Side (2nd Avenue) to Forest Hill (71st Avenue).
-Service reactivated. Now has rush hour service to Coney Island via Sea Beach Right-of-Way.
