Today I was taking Eastchester BxM8 bus and the B/O tell me that he heard from John Day the TWU 100 VP and from Pete Rosconi in Eastchester Depot union that in January 2015 Yonkers Depot is going to close it down.
The B/O said that the following is going to happen come January 2015 because of Yonkers closing down
With express bus
-BxM1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 18 go from Yonkers to Eastchester
-All BxM9 buses go from Eastchester to College Point to make room at Eastchester for Yonkers routes
-All QM2 and QM20 will run from College Point and Eastchester not going to do any QM2 and QM20 trip anymore to make room at Eastchester for Yonkers routes
With local bus
-Q50 go from Eastchester to College Point to make room at Eastchester doing Yonkers routes
-Q53 go from College Point to LaGuardia with some Q53 run being done from Baisley Park as it is closest TWU depot to Rockaway
-Q64 go from Baisley Park to College Point
For bonus
-QM24 and QM25 from LaGuardia to College Point
B/O told me that Eastchester B/O like the BxM9 route as they have nice people and don't want to lose it and are upset that College Point do some trip on it during rush hour now
