A man was struck and killed by a northbound New Jersey Transit train at the New Brunswick station, police said. Four people on the platform were struck by "debris" — body parts — and suffered minor injuries, New Brunswick police Lt. J.T. Miller told the Daily News. A NJ Transit spokesperson says the man was leaning into the path of the train when he was hit. Four people were struck by pieces of his body; three went to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said. About 300 people were onboard the train, headed northbound from Trenton to New York.
