Train riders said the chaos doubled the times of their commute as they took shuttle buses or the Harlem Line to make it to work. “I’m three hours late,” said Tom Griffin, 34, of Briarcliff Manor in Westchester County, who was on his way to work in Midtown. “This is hell on Earth.” Metro-North said it was doing all it could to help commuters despite Sunday’s tragedy that tore up the tracks near the Spuyten Duyvil station in the Bronx. “I have to take the train to Yonkers, then take the shuttle bus, then take the subway to 50th St. (in Midtown). It’s a lot of changes,” said Zaida Roman, 67, of Newburgh.
