The first of the 276 bus order being built by New Flyer Industries has been delivered. Bus #7090 is currently awaiting acceptance at the Northeastern Bus Rebuilders facility in Queens. These buses feature some small differences from the 2011 order, which include the changeover to Luminator Titan destination signs, the addition of an air scoop at the back of the bus and the same style rear doors as those found on the XD60s. The buses will be powered with a Cummins ISL9 engine and an Allison B400R 5th Generation transmission. The other three pilot buses (#7091-7093) will be used for "configuration and audit testing." If on schedule, production buses will start to be delivered in February 2015.
