Christopher Raiford with worried mom Tanya Turk.
Six weeks to the day after Avonte Oquendo went missing from a city school, a Brooklyn school lost track of an 8-year-old boy, his mother said Friday.
Christopher Raiford got dropped off at Public School 155 at 7:55 a.m. and ran out a side door to the subway, his mother said.
“I’m terrified — and relieved he’s safe,” said Tanya Turk, the boy’s mother, who is a city worker. “I’m upset with the school for letting him get out the door. That is just terrible.”
PS 155 Principal Nelly Cortes did not return a call after a message was left with her assistant, but school officials denied any wrongdoing.
